Week 2, Globalisation:
Mr Thomas Friedman has mentioned, There are three different era, world has been gone through. The first era was globalisation of the countries for example India was colony of British, many European countries by Germans and Russians. In the second era Multinational companies formed the globalisation. In present, the third era, in which, we are living in is about globalisation of individual because the increasing use of the Internet.

There are some upsets of third era as follows:
The unemployment rate in some nations will increase, because the business will move to cost effective production nations so that the employment as well.
The difference in culture may increase, as everyone does not know the culture and ethics of everyone in this era. There are more possibilities that there will be many cultural issues will raise in business procedures.

As per Mr Friedman the world is flat now but, he is not agreed to the statement to an extent, because it is a point that Internet has brought people more closely than before in the world but still many reasons has to be studied before approving with his statement.
According to Mr Friedman Internet has connected the people of the world to each other on a flat platform, but a large pool of the world population has no access of Internet. There are many other reasons that are wall to becoming the world flatten for instance cultural, ethical and social values stances. Internet should not be the only factor because there is many factors that have to be focused that Internet couldnt fulfil for everyone.

The planet has been becoming limited, the approach of individuals around the globe to each other has been increasing, but it is also not true to believe that the individual has become the globalised. The multi national corporates are operating around the globe. This has definitely spread the business opportunities to the next destination, but there is still a long path in future to achieve individual globalisation.
Activity 2.
As per professor Ghemawats book World 3.0, the world is quite far to turn globalised for each of us. According to Mr Ghemawat, in the book of Mr Thomas Friedman the flat world he has overreacted to the situation and is lack of effective research as there is not sufficient data available in his research. According to him the capital investment, immigration plains, and communication has increased dramatically but still there are large gap has to be filled and I am also agreed with professor Ghemawat statement.
