Assessment Task:
You have been asked to advise a company considering undertaking international marketing for the first time. The product that they manufacture is luxury and classic cars.
Your role is to assess the market potential of two countries China and USA.
You will investigate the environmental risks, identify the problems and opportunities associated with developing of a successful marketing mix for both countries, and to consider and justify the most appropriate market entry method.
Based on your assessment, you are then required to recommend which country the company should select for market entry.
1.Select the appropriate theoretical models and tools that you will use to analyses both markets. You will be required to discuss the merits of the analytical tools you choose, referring to the appropriate academic theory and opinion.
2.Research both countries making a critical assessment and comparison of:
2.1.the macro environmental risk factors
2.2.the issues related to implementing a successful marketing mix.
4.You must then make a recommendation about which country they would recommend the company to target, providing justification for your choice.
On this occasion the report should contain the following sections:
Title and contents page.
Brief introduction.
Critical analysis and justification of academic models to be employed.
Analysis of macro environmental risk factors for each country.
Analysis and comparison of opportunities and threats related to a successful marketing mix for each country.
Justification for choice of one country and recommended market entry strategy proposed.
Brief conclusion.

Up to 7 calendar days late = 10 marks subtracted but if the assignment would normally gain a pass mark, then the final mark to be no lower than the pass mark for the assignment.
More than 7 calendar days late = This will be counted as non-submission and no marks will be recorded.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the assignment is submitted in the format/s specified in the Module Guide or on the Assessment Brief.

Extensions over 14 calendar days should be requested using the Mitigating Circumstances procedure.
