You need to produce a project plan for a suitable project for your work-place (An Online Registration Project for an Educational Institute). The Project Plan will include the use of Project Management tools and techniques studied and discussed in the class. Before drawing the network we must define the logical relationships between all the activities.
There are two basic relationships:
– Activities in series
– Activities in parallel
Critical Path Method (CPM), is a procedure for using network analysis to identify those tasks which are on the critical path: ie where any delay in the completion of these tasks will lengthen the project timescale, unless action is taken.
For all tasks off the critical path, a degree of tolerance is possible (eg. late start, late completion, early start, etc.)
