During the first quarter the company focused on the organization and decision making that would soon become the platform for the company. During quarter one, the initial and disputably most significant decision was creating the company name. BoltZ was quickly developed in the very first office that the company is located in. Creating a name for a company is a significant stepping-stone which will set the tone for consumers to want to invest in both the products and services boltZ offers; therefore, this decision was not taken lightly. Rather, there was much thought and debate in ensuring that the correct company name was chosen.

           In addition to building both a brand and name for the company, staff members were also tasked with learning one another’s strengths, weaknesses, and skills. As boltZ continued to move throughout this quarter the company quickly began to evolve and transform. Beginning the second quarter, the company needed to organize and arrange for the market segments which were to be chosen and targeted. During this quarter, boltZ decided upon significant decisions which focused on market opportunities, operations, and various competitors. For example, boltZ analyzed and focused on where it was the consumers were willing to pay the best and highest prices for the computers. Therefore, boltZ staff members decided that the primary sales offices should be placed in Americas as well as APAC. The two major cities boltZ decided to target heavily are Chicago and Tokyo. Furthermore, boltZ built off of both the brand and company name and created a strong mission statement in which to abide by. The mission statement developed is as follows: “Our mission at botlZ, is to be the leading technology company which has an innovative edge over the competition while still keeping everyday peoples values and reasonable prices.”. This mission statement was beneficial to not only the consumers but to help in setting the tone for the upcoming quarters and decisions needed to be made.

In quarter three, the focus was primarily on both strategy and marketing research. After analyzing both the research and strategy, strategic choices were made to develop models for the products, develop select pricing schemes, hire and deploy employees, and finally, develop and place advertising for all products. The most recent two quarters focused on the financial components of building and expanding boltZ. In doing so staff members analyzed the previous performance in the fourth quarter in efforts to develop a solid two year formatted plan for the most resent and fifth quarter. The strategic marketing plan made for the upcoming two years was created to follow the foundation of boltZ and the decisions from the previous quarters. It is vital to analyze the ways in which boltZ was developed in efforts to better understand and determine the future of the company. During this assessment of the strategic and marketing plan, boltZ will continue to dive deeper and create a clearer understanding of the most recent business evaluations.
