Introduction
Tesla Motor, Inc. engages in the designing, development, manufacturing, and sale of electric vehicles and electric power train components. Its products include electric vehicles such as the Model S, Model X, Model 3 and the Tesla Roadster.
The company also manufactures home batteries and solar roof. Tesla was founded by Jeffrey B. Straubel, Elon Reeve Musk, Martin Eberhard, and Marc Tarpenning on July 1, 2003, and is headquartered in Palo Alto, CA.
The project strategy analysis is to asses Telsa biggest challenges in the electric vehicle industry and to evaluate the company history, quality, and financial reports as to expanding and market positioning.

This project has allowed me to utilize the foundational knowledge, concepts, and methodologies that I have learned from my previous MBA courses described as:
I. MBA6016 Finance and Value Creation:Theunderstanding I gained from this course helped me to analyze Tesla financial condition by examining their financial statements and by providing important information regarding Tesla revenue, profits, and earnings.
II. MBA6022 Strategic Operations Management: The class competencies in this course I have learned was to process and design a Strategy that would correct the quality, charging capacity, production and inventory management of its vehicles. Operations Strategy will provide insight of decisions that have impacted the organizations’ productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

III. MBA6012 Integrated Global Marketing: My report will focus on the major points of view, such as Reliability, including the Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams, and Senior Management.
IV. MBA6018 Data Analysis for Business Decisions. I will directly apply the skills I have learned in this course to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to provide suggestive recommendations regarding business decisions that support the strategic and operational direction of Tesla organization.
V. MBA 6028 Business Integration Skills: I will identify, analyze, and apply principles of organizational strategy using the critical thinking, problem-solving, competitive analysis, and foundational skills that I’ve learned in this course. I will focus on identifying and planning my projection, analyze the strategic issues business decision. Integrate findings of strategic, environmental and core business function analyses to provide input to decision making and decision.
VI. Integrate Information: Tesla will be analyzed by multiple perspectives and organizational components and functions which will include the organizational culture and structure, administration, marketing, and finance and how they impact the organization’s strategical growth. The focus will point out Reliability, Marketing, Finances, and Operational issues.
VII. Lead and Collaborate in virtual, global, and culturally diverse environments
This study will focus on global trends and its effects on Tesla’s Motor Company.
a) An Internal analysis of Tesla Motors will be performed to understand the internal capabilities of the company and the current strategies the company is using to connect with its consumers and to stay competitive.
b) An external analysis will be performed to understand the environmental impact through Porter’s Five Forces.
c) These five forces will explore the rivalry that the company faces, barriers to entry to the beverage industry, the threat from the suppliers and buyers and, the threat of substitutes.
Porter’s five forces of competitive position analysis
Five forces analysis will help Tesla motor to factor in the aspects of the affecting profitability in the Electric Motor industry, which can help with the decision related to the company whether to increase its capacity and develop a Strategy. The Five Forces are supplier power, Buyer power, competitive rivalry, the threat of substitution, and the threat of new entry.

Tesla Motors will face challenges in the increasing its number of electric vehicles to its consumer. Tesla sales its vehicle through showrooms and online channels. Tesla also manufactures their own electric powertrain components and sell them to other car manufactures.

The MBA 6028 Business Integration Skills course has incorporated a structure on gathering data and researching relevant information. My project research for Tesla Motors organization will be pertaining to the quality and standards of the company for my capstone project.
The statistical data will be obtained from various resources such as; Telsa 10-K report SEC filings, Corporate Governance, IRS form 8937 Stock information, and addition reports from the web. I will prepare graphs and diagrams for statistical observation and comparison with other companies in the automotive industry of electric vehicle.
In addition, I am still gathering additional information to ensure that my project reflects a clear and concise strategical recommendations. Listed below are of some of the data recourses that will be to the development of my capstone project:
