As an advanced human services professional practitioner currently working with the Department of Disability Services, my career aspirations revolve around making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. I have chosen human services as a field because I am passionate about advocating for and supporting vulnerable populations.
In my current role, I have already made a positive impact by developing and implementing programs and services that cater to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. I have also worked closely with families and caregivers to provide them with the necessary support and resources. Additionally, I have been actively involved in policy development and have advocated for inclusive practices within the department.
Looking ahead, I envision my alumni video at the end of my master’s journey showcasing the transformative projects I have initiated and the positive changes I have brought about in the field of disability services.
